An astigmatism is an eye condition that is usually corrected using contact lenses, eyeglasses or surgery. An astigmatism is actually an irregular curvature of the cornea and this causes a refractive error in the eye. Almost everyone has some sort of this eye condition and for those that have significant curvature treatment is recommended.
