For those who are not aware, farsightedness is known to be a common visual disorder. Farsightedness is also known as hyperopia. When patients suffer from this kind of ailment, they have difficulty in vision and are not properly able to view distant objects. People over the age of 40 are usually affected by this visual ailment. The symptoms are quite prominent. Either the eyeballs of the victim flatten or their lenses get hardened. It is especially during the middle age that this vision problem becomes more prominent.
