Many of my friends has undergone LASIK and have raved the way it can give us a perfect vision. It is interesting to note that not many people have come across this phrase Photorefractive Keratectomy (PRK). PRK is also a very well-practiced laser eye surgery that has been practiced in many countries for more than 2 decades.

With that mind, let me examine PRK vs LASIK. We will look at the various pros and cons. At the end, you will have to find out how to determine the best procedure for your eye surgery. The similarities between PRK and LASIK: 1) Pain is not evident midst the whole surgery 2) Both need eye medication after the surgery 3) Both require a few period to recover from the procedure 4) Both are effective to treat myopia and hyperopia

While there are some major differences, both process are safe. To determine which is better for yourself, it is best to seek advice from a well-known eye surgeon who will examine your eyes to determine which is suitable for you.
